Chicken cutlet


Yields : 14-15 cutlets

Ingredients:
1. Chicken boneless- Around 300gms
2. Potato- 3-4 medium boiled and mashed
3. Onion- 1 medium
4. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
5. Chilly powder- 1 - 1.5 tsp
6. Curry leaves- 1 sprig
7. Coriander leaves- 3 tbsp.
8. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
9. Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
10. Black pepper powder- 3/4 tsp
11. Salt- as needed
12. Oil- 1 tbsp + For shallow fry
13. Egg white- 2 eggs beaten
14. Bread crumbs- 1.5 cups

*Onion, curry leaves and coriander leaves have to be finely chopped
* You can replace chilly powder with green chillies

Method:



1. Cook chicken with little water, turmeric powder and a bit of salt. Keep aside.



2. Heat oil in a pan. Add curry leaves and onion, Saute well until the onions are translucent. Then add ginger garlic paste and Saute for 2-3 mins till its raw smell goes.



3. Add chilly powder, black pepper powder and saute for a min.



4. Add the cooked chicken and mix well.



5. Add garam masala, salt and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.



6. Add the mashed potato. Mix well.



7. Shape the cutlets in a round or oval shape.



8. Dip in egg white and roll in bread crumbs.



9. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cutlets until it turns golden brown.

Enjoy this yummy cutlets with ketch up and a cup of tea or coffee.... Perfect !! :)
